We have been asked more than once, which vehicle is the right "tender", or companion to the outrageously luxurious Skyacht One? This set our bespoke mind racing. There are many right answers to this, but until you tell us different, here is our first entry. We thought the lines of the new Rolls-Royce Wraith really captured the feel of the superyacht, so we customized our own mahogany cloaked version to be so unique, we felt it deserved it's own name, Regatta. We got a bit excited about the idea and posted this brief interview.
"Our goal is to partner with the right patron to see how far we can take the heritage of old world coach building and infuse it into a modern vehicle. A revival of texture and fine craft that made Rolls-Royce legendary. We love the shape of the Wraith and do not want to soil it, but rather enhance it's boat like lines. As much as the $10M Sweptail project captured the vintage powerboat shape, they missed the wood panelling that was the reason for it. To bring back the past in a way that banishes the plastic switches and rewards your every touch with something made by hand. Regatta is not a product so much as it is an project, a unique adventure into artisanal coach building. Whomever joins us will really enjoy the adventure and the result." Edward Sotto
